Raising funds for local Medical Research!
Michael Tynan Challenge, 2024.
What a journey it’s been since 2016, raising nearly $2 million for local medical research in memory of Michael Tynan. Over the years, we’ve proudly supported vital projects, including ANSTO head and neck cancer research, UOW’s Molecular Horizons, and St George & Sutherland Hospitals. This year, we’re thrilled to partner with Southern Cancer Care for an extraordinary art exhibition, continuing our mission to make a lasting impact in our local area.

Helping to make a difference.
The beneficiaries of the Michael Tynan Challenge have been ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) and UOW (University of Wollongong). In 2022 alone we were able to donate $103,500 to support ANSTO’s Head and Neck cancer treatment research project and at UOW, award the Tynan Family Molecular Horizons Honours Scholarship to 9 students to undertake their research.
In 2024 we are excited to be supporting Southern Cancer Care, to build tailored resources, to better prepare and support carers through cancer diagnosis and treatment.
